The VP of Sales, Strategic Enterprise Accounts is responsible for revenue generation and new business development to support rapid growth in the Fortune 1000 companies. databahn sales teams put the customer first and focuses on a consultative sales approach. We are seeking an experienced VP of Sales, Strategic Enterprise Accounts to build and lead a strategic field sales team, focusing on our largest potential accounts within the Fortune 1000.

The primary function of this position is to drive the growth of databahn's business by directly leading a team of strategic field sales account executives. This dynamic sales leader will report to our CEO and will have the ability to have a direct impact on databahn's continued growth. This growth will be achieved by building a high performing sales team which targets enterprise Fortune 1000 accounts and large Global 2000 accounts.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train and lead a field enterprise sales hunter team.

• Develop significant executive relationships in enterprise Fortune 1000 and Global 2000 accounts.

• Refine and monitor the sales process to ensure the team performs at optimal level.

• Engage with strategic customers directly and help individual sales representatives close major deals.

• Execute the overall sales strategy to maximize global accounts penetration and increase market share. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree

• 10+ years' experience as a successful sales leader

• 10+ years of sales management experience

• Proven track record of developing, leading, and motivating field sales teams

• Experience selling information solutions and software preferred

• Proven capability of closing million dollar plus new business through direct sales method

• Ability to mentor, coach and train account executives

• Effectively lead team performance

• Extensive experience selling to technical customers

• Proven experience hunting net new business from global accounts

• Ability to travel approximately 50%
