AI is making up stuff about your strategic accounts

Imagine opening a first meeting or QBR by congratulating an exec on a winโ€ฆ that hasnโ€™t occurred.

Hereโ€™s the thing:
Most AEs arenโ€™t doing anything โ€œwrong.โ€
Youโ€™re doing exactly what youโ€™ve been told:

1. Build your account plan / deck where you normally do (say, in ChatGPT).

2. Strip out confidential info.

3. Paste the factual statements (initiatives, dates, events, metrics) into a second AI platform (like Perplexity - my choice for account research), and ask it to:

โ€ข โ€œFlag anything it canโ€™t verify.โ€
โ€ข โ€œProvide live source links for each key claim.โ€

If the second platform canโ€™t find credible sources, donโ€™t anchor your QBR, outreach, or exec narrative on that โ€œfact.โ€
