The GE Digital Foundry Europe is part of a group of these locations. Similar centers exist in San Ramon (USA), Shanghai (China) with new foundries about to open in Boston, Singapore, Munich and Saudi Arabia.

The activity in these locations is inevitably focused on work with the GE Predix industrial Internet operating system.
